What’s most impressive is that, since Toys For Bob were unable to provide assets for the original, Toys for Bob used a special emulation tool (Spyro-scope) to recreate levels and enemy patterns. Developer Toys for Bob took the original three Spyro games for the PS One and remade them in vibrant HD quality. Instead of appearing for yet another unremarkable follow-up, the purple dragon returns to his roots with the Reignited Trilogy. It’s a fire-breathing good time when Spyro emerges from the ashes of his forgettable sequels.
